Samah Kareem Al Aydi is a PhD candidate in computer engineering at Isik University, specializing in responsible AI and regulatory compliance. She is a lecturer at Birzeit University and the University of Palestine, teaching computer science and emerging technologies. Her research focuses on AI-driven frameworks for real-time compliance in FinTech, integrating machine learning and blockchain validation. Samah contributed as a country researcher to the Global Index on Responsible AI and previously led ICT standardization research at the Palestine Standards Institution in collaboration with ISO and IEC. She is committed to advancing ethical, transparent, and accountable AI systems across the MENA region.
