Prof. Hamadeh is a professor at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the American University of Beirut and serves as the founder and Director of the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU). He is a leading expert in sustainable agriculture and animal science, with extensive experience in research, teaching, and development projects across Lebanon and the region. His work focuses on improving the resilience of food systems and rural livelihoods. Prof. Hamadeh also serves on several national advisory boards, contributing to policy dialogue and strategic direction on sustainable food systems and environmental management.
