Usama Najeeb is a political and economic specialist with extensive experience analyzing governance, technology, and economic developments in the Middle East and North Africa. He has served at the U.S. Consulate in Dubai since 2018 and previously worked as a Political Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo from 2007 to 2018, focusing on political and economic reforms, regulatory frameworks, and regional cooperation. Usama is also a Chartered Linguist and Translator (CIOL) and a member of the American Translators Association, with a strong passion for translation and cross-cultural communication. He holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo and a Diploma in International Water Law from the University of Geneva. A recipient of the Kamal Adham Fellowship for Television and Digital Journalism, he has lived between Egypt and the UAE since 1980.
