Nadine Weheba is the Associate Director at the Access to Knowledge for Development Center. Her research interests are in the political economy of new technologies, innovation, and development. She is interested in how to make new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, inclusive of women, youth and vulnerable groups in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). She is engaged in empirical, policy-oriented research on the multifaceted inequalities women and other vulnerable groups face in the region’s digital economy.
