Shahed Al-Khateeb is an Artificial Intelligence researcher and Computer Vision specialist, holding a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Yarmouk University, Jordan. Her research focuses on deep learning, machine learning, and neural networks, with particular interest in AI applications for smart agriculture, food security, and responsible artificial intelligence.

She is the founder and leader of "World of Plants for Artificial Intelligence Solutions," an AI-based initiative that develops solutions for early plant disease detection using computer vision and deep learning techniques. The project received support from the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), was incubated at the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) in Jordan, and received support and investment from Zain Telecommunications.

She has published research articles in international journals and conferences on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision, particularly focusing on deep learning applications for plant disease detection. She received the Best Master’s Thesis Award in Jordan through the ITAS Arab Youth Competition and participated in international programs including Stars of Science in Qatar and TechWomen in the United States.
