Associate Professor of Multimedia Journalism and Communication at Lebanese American University (LAU), Dr. Gretchen King also serves as the Director of Pedagogy and Curriculum Design at LAU’s Institute of Media Research and Training, where she is building a network of feminist AI enthusiasts. Since 1999, Dr. King has been working, teaching, and research at the intersection of politics and technology. She is the recent co-author of "The political economy of AI: a content analysis of ChatGPT outputs and anti-Palestinian media bias" published in Third World Quarterly.
