He brings over 7 years of experience in research and policy analysis, project management, and collaboration with international organisations, think tanks, and academic institutions. His professional journey is defined by a commitment to evidence-based advocacy and a continuous pursuit of innovative frameworks that advance socio-economic development in Egypt and ensure long-term sustainability.

At EFB, Mahmoud is part of the Policy Dialogue Initiative's (PDI) team, a platform dedicated to fostering evidence-based policy dialogues and stakeholder engagement. Through the PDI, he has facilitated engagements with regional and international stakeholders, including collaboration with the MENA Observatory on Responsible AI, positioning EFB as a credible voice in policy and advocacy circles across the region.
