Skills Development Analyst at the Knowledge Project, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
Nezar Sami is a Skills Development Analyst at the Knowledge Project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
A learning, innovation, and technology management expert, he brings over 30 years of experience delivering national and regional development programmes, digital transformation projects, innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives across public and international institutions.
Sami contributes to the design and implementation of the Future Skill Academy, providing technical and operational leadership across youth skilling, research, and innovation in learning. His work includes contributing to research agendas, skills gap mapping, and evidence-based policy products in close coordination with UNDP country offices.
Additionally, he leads strategic stakeholder engagement across government, the private sector, and academia to align research with regional innovation agendas.
Previously, he held senior leadership positions at UNDP Egypt, Nile University, and the Egyptian Banking Institute; he also founded the NilePreneurs initiative.
