She graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with High Honors, specializing in International Relations and Public International Law, with a minor in Economics.

At A2K4D, Hana supports research, analysis, reporting, and project coordination related to responsible AI governance, technology policy, and inclusive development in Egypt and the wider Middle East and North Africa region. Before joining A2K4D, Hana gained research and policy experience through internships at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation and the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding. Her previous work included research on stakeholders, partnerships, cooperation frameworks, peacebuilding, and development policy. She also held several leadership roles at the American University in Cairo, where she worked across student governance, interdisciplinary programming, research coordination, and institutional initiatives.
