Research and Engagement Specialist, Access to Knowledge for Development Center (A2K4D)

I am the Research & Engagement Specialist at the Access to Knowledge for Development Center and, its flagship initiative, the MENA Observatory on Responsible AI. In my current role, I work at the intersection of initiatives that strengthen collaboration across academia, industry, government, and the development sector, supporting research funding, meaningful partnerships, and community development. I also work alongside my team role to advance responsible AI research, innovation, and ecosystem development in the MENA region.

My work is driven by a belief that meaningful collaboration is essential to addressing complex challenges. I enjoy bringing together diverse stakeholders, identifying opportunities for impactful partnerships, and translating ideas into initiatives that create lasting value for communities.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, I am passionate about driving positive change that is tangible and sustainable. Whether through research, partnerships, or community engagement, I strive to contribute to initiatives that create measurable impact and support inclusive development.

Lastly, I am honored to have received the Ahmed El Mahallawi Award from the American University in Cairo, recognizing my commitment to leadership and community impact.
