Dr. Osama Mimi is the founder and the director of the Unit for Learning Innovation (ULI) at CCE, which aims at improving the quality of formal and non-formal education systems in Palestine and the region through adopting learning innovation approaches and “outside-the–box” solutions that can be scaled and sustained. Dr. Osama has been leading the conceptualization, design, fundraising and implementation processes of a wide range of strategic learning innovations projects locally, regionally and internationally. Through the Unit for Learning Innovation, he has engaged in conceptualizing, designing, planning and implementing a wide range of learning innovation projects at school and university levels in addition to non-formal education systems and institutional capacity building projects.
Dr. Osama has an undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Jordan, MSc degree in Atomic Physics from the University of Manchester in UK (honor list) and a PhD in Curricula Design and Teaching Methods from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Al Quds (honor list).Dr. Osama has an excellent knowledge in the Palestinian and the regional formal(basic and higher education) and non-formal education systems, and has excellent skills in leadership, management, communication, research, evaluation, learning design, curricula review and development, teaching and training skills.
