Marwan Tarazi firmly believes that only through good education can the world become a better and safer place for all. Marwan has dedicated his career to redesigning or creating new educational models necessary to prepare future generations for an extremely fast-changing world and uncertain future. He is specialized in strategy formulation focusing on institutional capacity building that links human resource development with institutional structures, market and employment dynamics and overall sociol-economic environment. Marwan is the architect of several national programs and bodies such as, CAPABILITY (Capacity Building for Educational institutions through Innovation and Technology), a planned knowledge park at Birzeit University, the IT Center of Excellence, Knowledge Consortium, and the Public Administration and Civil Service Capacity Building program at CCE. 

Marwan has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Canada, and an international MBA degree from the Kellogg’s School of Business at North Western University. Marwan started his career in the US and Canada in the mid-1980s and moved back to Palestine in the early 1990s. He has served as a director for the Computer Center at the University, the director of the Information Technology Unit for four years, the head of the Business Development Unit at CCE for three years, and the director of CCE since August 2007.
